Overview

Do Not Research (DNR) is an internet-based platform for visual art, writing, and new media that grew out of an artist-led reading group and online community. The publication spotlights memetic culture and the ways internet life shapes emerging social and political currents.

I've been part of DNR since 2020, early enough to help build it from a small reading group into a platform with 40k+ Instagram followers and an active community of artists, writers, and internet people. I helped build early awareness by running guerrilla meme content across co-managed multi-admin Instagram accounts. Since then I've worked as a community coordinator alongside other mods, running the Discord, planning events, and MCing live programs including DNR @ The End.
